Welcome to the Ladies of Henley.
We have a strong committee working on your behalf.
There are many opportunities for your golf at Henley, ranging from the usual monthly Medals and Stablefords to more informal formats and annual Cup competitions. We offer a wide range of social occasions throughout the year to meet fellow golfers in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Should you have a more competitive focus there is a vast array of competitions on offer in the club diary as well as inter-club competition. Friendly matches are organised with clubs in a wide surrounding area and we take an active part in the Warwickshire League, having been winners on one occasion.
As well as being able to book individual tee times we reserve tee times on Wednesday mornings when we meet as a group and offer a full programme of varied golf formats. Similarly for 7 day members we arrange tee times as a group or you may prefer to play with the men on these days as we have always had equal status at Henley.
Beginners to the game are most welcome and we will be pleased to offer guidance and support as you develop your game. So do come and join us. Remember, we have all been there!
Should you have any queries I am always pleased to help.
Happy golfing!
Barbara Jones
Ladies Captain 2009 / 2010.

WARWICKSHIRE LADIES LEAGUE
A huge ” Thank You ” to all the Ladies who played in the league this summer.
We really did well to win 4 out of 5 matches.
Maxstoke Park won our division, also winning 4 out of 5 matches, but had a better game score so they are through to the semi-final.
We had an excellent team spirit and beautiful outfits - both the envy of our opponents.
Thank you all……
Barbara and Jenny.

Thank you to all 27 Ladies who entered this most enjoyable competition - it was great to see so many Ladies supporting this event, generously sponsored by Graham. The course was looking wonderful which enabled some fine scores to be recorded. Lindsey.
I would like to thank everyone who entered, dispite some inconsiderate football match being scheduled on the same afternoon (how dare they), and to all who stayed for the presentation. It was a very enjoyable day for my family and myself. I would also like to thank Lindsey for her help in organising the competition and her help along with Barbara’s for verifying the scores (an unenviable task). Thanks Ladies. Graham.
