Henley Golf and Country Club has been open since June 1994. Many changes has occurred since then and hopefully this extract will help you understand a little bit more about the companies history.
When the club opened in 1994 the original owner, Robin Owen, has a vision of a high class restaurant with a golf course on site also, this vision was eventually changed as the demand for a larger club house was the main priority
In 1996 the club was for sale, there were 2 options, one was a members buy out and the other was a sale to a new owner, after a few months of uncertainty the club was bought.
In 1997 the club was bought out by a family named Chamberlain, since then there have been many fantastic developments, these include major expansion to the club house, greenkeeping facilities and pro-shop/changing rooms.
The greenkeeping facility was completed in May 1998; the work created one of the most modern complexes in the Midlands.
Early 1999 work began on the expansion of the existing changing rooms and pro shop, this work was finished later in the year to produce a magnificently fitted out Pro-Shop and changing room area.
1999 also saw the start of a very exciting time for Henley Golf Club, it was the start of the major extension to the existing club house, the complex can be seen on the Ariel view below,
The facility was opened April 2001, and was completed in July 2001 and is open everyday from 8:00am.
