Few would argue that golf has some great traditions - it is challenging, character building, encourages respect and etiquette. But it does have a reputation for stuffiness and expensive.
Snag is a teaching system designed for all ages from 4 years old to grand parents. The equipment is light and bright but perfectly balanced, developing real golf skiils whilst avoiding injury or property damage. It can be played on any surface, in the garden or the school gym. The bails are like low-pressure tennis bails and the clubface is some 25% larger than standard, making it easier to hit the ball.
The system allows learners to chip, putt and pitch, progress is fast, especially with weekly lessons and some practice.

GOLF ACADEMY
At the Henley Golf & Country Golf Academy our aim is to make the understanding and subsequent improvements of the golf swing an easier process. Many golfers put off having their golf swing changed for fear of losing what they already have. However, unless the golfer improves their technique, their standard will remain constant albeit that they have good or bad days, thus restricting both their enjoyment and success of the game.
Golf lessons are most popular on an individual basis where the lesson is specific to an individual. Lesson time is more concentrated, improvement can be achieved more quickly.
We make no bones, we cannot perform miracles. For most golfers a golf lesson will not guarantee an immediate improvement. It requires a wanton enthusiasm on behalf of the pupil, whether a new beginner or a low handicapper, to improve over a period of time. This may take more than one lesson. (If we could transform players into immediate single figure golfers we might ask for £1000 per miracle).
So we provide a range of lesson packages, to suit most needs.
